ABOUT ME
I have been working predominately in the travel and transportation industry for the previous 40 years, having started my career as a navigating office in the merchant navy. I subsequently held various roles in transportation and logistics, until moving into the technology field in 1998, designing and developing solutions, providing business analysis, and strategy & consulting services. From 2012 to 2024 I was with IBM and SAP, very much focusing on business process reengineering and improvements, business strategy consulting, digital transformation and innovation. In my last few years at SAP, I was fortunate enough to work on a number of internal projects, alongside my day-job, looking at organisational restructuring, well-being, purpose, process simplification and strategy.
At the end of 2024 I left corporate life and started Symplavise.
I have lived in South Africa, England, India, Malaysia and Singapore, before settling in Thailand in 2025.
