With over 50 years of global hospitality experience across 14 countries on four continents, I have built a distinguished career leading hotels in dynamic and challenging environments. I have successfully opened seven hotels in Asia, overseeing each project from construction to operational excellence. My expertise spans resort and mixed-use city hotels in South Africa, Mauritius, the Maldives, Malaysia, the USA, and China. I have consistently driven performance, guest satisfaction, and long-term success.
Beyond operations, I am deeply committed to leadership development and training. I have mentored and trained hospitality professionals, equipping them with the skills to excel in service, operations, and guest engagement. My passion for education has led me to earn multiple teaching certifications, allowing me to contribute to the next generation of hospitality leaders.
I have worked in Germany, Switzerland, South Africa, Mauritius, the Maldives, Malaysia, the UAE, the USA, and China before settling in Singapore in 2025.

Now, through Symplavise, I focus on providing advisory and facilitation services to hotels. I serve as a sounding board for companies, helping them shape strategy and business plans, facilitate workshops for key initiatives, and refine business processes. Additionally, I offer specialised hotel opening expertise, guiding teams through pre-opening planning, operational setup, Quality Hotel Audits and successful market entry to ensure a seamless and impactful launch.
